"...we are filled with joy."

As the new year is about to end, I have already found myself looking back on 2008 and feeling so blessed. There are too many highlights to list, but just w/in the last month, "The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!(Psalm 126:3)" December was truly an amazing way to end a year; My entire family was able to spend Christmas together...what a blessing. Every year, so it seems, our family continues to grow and we now have 9 children w/in our immediate family! Little Cadence is the newest addition to the group and she was warmly welcomed. Vonnie(my oldest sister) and her family stayed in our home for their vacation and it was so exciting to see the cousins(her 3 boys and my 2 girls) play so well together. We had many laughs over their conversations! All of the children enjoyed celebrating Jesus' birthday and giving gifts to eachother. What a special Christmas.

We will be missing Vonnie, Justin and the boys as they had to return to Alabama today; Kaleena and Emiley have been searching for the boys this morning. Kaleena said, "When Emiley wakes up, then the boys won't be hiding anymore!" I do hope our children will grow to be close friends despite the distance between our homes.

Another wonderful addition to our Christmas was the beautiful snow! Since my family is from Montana, it wasn't challenging for us to enjoy it! We built many "frosty's" and Emiley ate her share! The kids even had a snowball fight one day!

Well, here are just a few of the memories we captured from our Christmas together. Enjoy!

Looks like you guys had a wonderful Holiday Erin! So glad the whole family was able to spend time together. I know your Mom was so thrilled. Melissa looks so great for just having a baby! I haven't met Vonnie, but wow she looks so much like you're mom. Three beautiful girls!

Happy New Year!
