(laundry and movies!)If being exhausted from Thanksgiving travels wasn't enough, the "flu bug" decided to visit our home for a WHOLE WEEK!!!! Kaleena had to come home from preschool last Monday and has been sick with the stomach flu ever since. Emiley became sick on Tuesday and has shown symptoms intermittently throughout the week. Both Kelly and I have had to miss work to care for the kids as well as trying to stay healthy ourselves! On Thursday morning we had to take Kaleena to the ER to be re-hydrated. She was a brave girl as she had her first IV line inserted. The picture below is of her little-foot dinosaur wearing her hospital bracelet. Needless to say, this is why I haven't posted a blog since Thanksgiving...we've been doing nothing but caring to sick children, trying to sleep when we can and frantically sanitizing and sterilizing our home!
